Life without purpose has little meaning.  Therefore to spend ones life without the least regard for purpose is a true waste.

However,  when the spark of faith first ignites we are immediately made aware of purpose and meaning.  Life is purposeful, meaning is to be found in everything we do.   To live is Christ.

r828 is designed to pour in both passion and purpose for living the life that Christ intends for each of us. 

Any attempt to live this life without Christ is ultimately vanity… such says Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived.

[ The Vanity of Self-Indulgence ] I said in my heart, “Come now, I will test you with pleasure; enjoy yourself.” But behold, this also was vanity.

[ The Vanity of toil (Hard Work)] I hated all my toil in which I toil under the sun, seeing that I must leave it to the man who will come after me,  and who knows whether he will be wise or a fool? Yet he will be master of all for which I toiled and used my wisdom under the sun. This also is vanity.
Ecclesiastes 5:8

[ The Vanity of Wealth and Honor ]   He who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor he who loves wealth with his income; this also is vanity.
[ All Is Vanity ] The words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem. Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.

To hear and know all to well that life without Christ is only vality is to hear an alarm ringing loud and clear that says seek Christ, find Christ,  live with and for Christ – for outside of Him your will find no purpose and only find vanity.
